Louise gave up the role because she didn't want to be identified forever with kids' science fiction.<br />

She has since returned to other things and is currently playing Blanche Simmons, one of the women prisoners in the Jap POW camp in Tenko... that's her on the left.<br />

In tonight's episode the women realise their hopes of an early release are unlikely.<br />

When malaria hits the camp, Blanche and the other women are put under considerable pressure and have to start organising themselves for a long stay.<br />
