THE funeral of Dr Who star Jon Pertwee took place tooday at an un-named cemetery in London. <br />
<br />
Pertwee, 76, died last Monday while on holiday in America with his German-born novelist wife, Ingeborg. At her request journalists and fans were not notified of the ceremony, attended only by close family and friends. Pertwee lived in Putney, London.<br />
<br />
The funeral was reportedly attended by broadcaster and longtime friend David Jacobs. A memorial service is planned later this year.<br />
