LET US hope BBC chiefs don't axe Dr Who. The time traveller has been in top form on Saturday nights, even without the Daleks to fight.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Of course the effects aren't as special as Hollywood can make them but this show deserves a regular place in our schedules.&lt;br /&gt;

The doctor is on trial but I think it would be mad to scrap him. Actor Colin Baker has put on so much weight that this is one BBC programme where licence payers actually get more for their money.&lt;br /&gt;
